When the Conservatives last ran Trafford Council, the average Band D council tax was £1,486 the lowest in Greater Manchester.

Since Labour took control in 2018, it has risen to over £2,289 more than £800 extra from local households.

At a time when families are already under pressure, many residents are asking: are we getting better value for the money we pay?
