Jonathan Coupe, Davyhulme Conservative candidate in the 2026 local elections is asking when will Trafford Council publish its Draft Revenue Budget Proposals for 2026/27. In previous years, it has been publised in October, but so far, its has not been published.

Jonathan said "I appreciate that the recent council by-elections meant that some council meetings were postponed, but now that the by-elections have taken place, residents rightly expect clarity on the council’s financial plans. Trafford families are already facing rising costs and uncertainty, especially after Rachel Reeves's budget. Timely information about council tax, local services, and charges is essential to help them prepare.

"Trafford residents deserve the opportunity to understand how the draft proposals will affect them."
